Keep your IE CSS hacks

December 7th, 2005 in Web Development |

Ok, this is not directly Mac related, but if you happen to do web development on your mac, this might be an worthfull piece of information for you:
With the upcoming Internet Explorer 7 for Windows many people hoped that their having to workaround ugly IE bugs would finally be gone. But it’s not as good as it sounds; PNG images alpha seems to work (finally!), the Box-Model-Bug seems to be fixed (thank heavens) but there are still a number of issues requiring hacks so the Web Standards Project’s Microsoft Task force.
So don’t throw your IE hacks aways just yet, better keep em until IE8 comes out.
